Trip to Tennessee

HAPPY 4th OF JULY,

2009

We went to Angie and Ben's for the 4th weekend and got to visit for a few days. We had a great time. Thanks for putting up with us! It was fun to do things with the kids too. The big ones and the little ones!

Brenden was having fun with the sparklers, Riley, not so much, she didn't like those things at all!
Even a little spark from one of them didn't stop him!

No, he had not been drinking yet! He was just enjoying the sparklers too!

We went putt-puttin one day while we were there. Brenden was very upset when his ball disappeared on the 18th hole!

The guys trying to figure out the green, since I had number "5" hole in one, I put them to shame!!! I did beat them, I was excited! Sorry guys!

Riley preparing for our tea party, we had play-doh tea pots, cups, saucers, and of course cookies to go along with the tea. It was fun playing with her and all the play-doh!

Riley and her rose, she was so proud of, she won it at one of the carnival games, basketball, I believe.

Their favorite ride I think, the good ole fashioned Carousel! They had to ride on this one several times.

At their house, they have the best tree for sitting in! Brenden loves this.

Riley likes to be in the tree too, but she wanted Dad to get that bug out of here!

More Birthday Fun!

Harmony was fasinated by AJ's feet! I don't think she has been around little ones smaller than her much!

Grandma and Grandpa got to get their birthday hugs in too!
Now Harmony is going to be a great photographer someday, she wanted the camera so I let her take a picture of Jen and Jackson sitting across from us.

I had to laugh, Joe took our picture and Drew pulled on the camera just as he took the picture.

I took Joe's picture with Drew and Harmony pulled the camera just like Drew did! It was quite funny!

Twins Birthday

We went to Drew and Harmony's birthday party today. They are now one year olds! As you can see Drew waisted no time getting into his cake, Harmony was a little more timid!

In no time he had his cake down to the plate!


Neither one was too sure about eating it though!

Trip to Findlay

We went to Findlay to put flowers on the family plots, although I didn't get to go down there before Memorial Day, they were all in my thoughts that weekend (and every day).

Uncle Sam, died during World War II, and is buried in Hawaii, this is a memorial stone at the cemetery for him.

My mom and dad, along with a sister and my brother are all together in Arlington, Ohio.

Special thoughts for all of my family today.

We had a special driver for the trip today! AJ loves Grandpa's truck so he thought he'd give the driver's seat a try!

First he tried standing, but he liked sitting better!

Cousins everywhere!

This is our great garage sale find! AJ was always trying to sit up and he was not happy in the bouncer type seat for very long, so we went garage salin'! So glad we did. He loves this seat and he can stand up and turn it too. He loves the steering wheel, watch out NASCAR!

Lots of cousins to keep him busy too, here's Jackson and AJ
August and Gabby were here for a visit too.

Here is our Man Brock! The oldest and the youngest grandkids. Brock and AJ make a good team!

He loves to listen to Brock talk to him, I think Brocks voice has changed just enough to sound manly!

Brock will be visiting his dad for the summer for awhile so hopefully we will get to see him a few more times before he heads back to Ohio.

Sonya's Open House

This Sat. we went to an open house for our daughter-in-law, Sonya. She graduated from nursing school. We are so proud of her.

Kim's sister held the open house at her house, and she had a pinata for the kids, one for the younger kids and one for the little older kids. They had a great time trying to break the pinata!

Poor August, her head was too small for the blindfold that they had!
