Brock Catching Up

Brock and Jackson were able to hunt eggs on Friday but Brock was having a hard time keeping up with Jackson, finally he found one that was right in reach but he kept looking over it.

That last egg that can never be found! Well he found it finally, but it fell on the floor, here's his surprised look when an egg fell out of the rabbit puppet that he picked up! Good thing the eggs were plastic!

Brock and his Uncle Paco (Jeff). Jeff came over for his break from work and got to visit for a few minutes while he ate his supper.

Easter with the "Boys"

BROCK AND JACKSON
Brock and Jackson finally got to Nana and Papa's for a visit on Friday. I had to work all week so it was hard to get to visit when we were all on a work schedule.

Brock just loves to stand next to everyone and see how much taller he is than the rest of us! He has grown so much since we saw him last. And such a pleasant young man too. Yea, he loves to make sure everyone knows he is quite a bit taller than me now. He couldn't wait to go around me and I guess he's done that in just one summer!

Jackson found his first egg and couldn't wait to find some more.

Brock was getting skunked by little brother Jackson in finding the eggs he's still hunting, and only a couple more to find.

More Easter Fun

The girls playing a Tower of Bunnies it was fun.

These are the flower that Don got me for Easter it fit on the table just right.

Easter

HAPPY EASTER
August checking our her basket
Gabby checking her eggs for the Special egg.
Eureka! I found the Special egg! Every year there is one special egg with money in it that they all have to try to find! Gabby was the lucky one this year.
These are two of the baskets I made for the kids for Easter. The girls already opened theirs before I got the picture taken.
Jeff , Sonya and the girls and Amy were here for Easter Day, and the egg hunt. We had a good time, and the girls had fun hunting the eggs.

Savannah guessed almost to the exact amount of M&M's (195, she guessed 194!) in the jar too! She looks pretty happy about that. She got to keep all the M&M's and the vase too.

Welcome Spring?!

Spring?
This robin looks confused and cold, notice the snow on his backside. The snow is quite deep and still falling.
This is Good Friday, 2008 from our front porch. What a start to Spring and to the Easter weekend. So much for outside sunrise services or hunting Easter eggs outside!

I knew I should have put the van in the garage! Oh well, I don't need to get out right now, so we're good. And Don thought he was done with the snow blower this year! We could end up with about 6 inches by tomorrow before this is over. Hopefully it will be the last one of the year!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. Enjoy your families, there's nothing like them in the world.

Angie and the kids visit Michigan

Angie and the kids got to Michigan just before the big snow storm, we were supposed to get, but it missed Michigan. They did close Ft. Campbell on Friday because of the snow, so she got up here in time to miss the bad weather on the road. They all look like they are glad to be in Michigan.

While she was here we celebrated her birthday at Applebee's Restaurant. Here they are waiting on the order to come. We had them sing to her but we were so busy watching her and the kids that we didn't get pictures of them singing to her.

Here are the cousins thinking of something else to get into ! They are all so active and Brenden is wanting to keep up with them so bad! He'll be walking soon, just to keep up with sissy!

Riley and Jackson playing "Super Heros" while watching their favorite video of "Go Diego, Go"

Self portrait taken of me and Brenden. I'm not very good at this yet, but I'm practicing!
Uncle Jeff, "Paco", got to visit with the kids on his lunch break from work while they were here.
