Reese Reunion '09

The Reese Reunion was held this weekend
with a "trip" to the Hawaiian Islands.

The map of destination.
The welcoming sign.

The tropical floral displays.

Along with the whimsical.
Plenty of food for everyone. And Aunt Helen sporting her black eye! She had a disagreement with her washing machine, I didn't ask how the washer was doing!

Everyone enjoyed good food and conversation.

The kids enjoyed the pinata filled with goodies.

Then the rush to claim the goodies!

The adults who braved the costume contest!

The Hoola dance performed by Jack and Linda.

Linda with her first prize for the contest.

"Big" bob with the second prize. The pineapple cinched it for him!

The little hoola dancers.

More of the little ones.

The Limbo!
How low will they go?

We call this the back breaker!

The big people can't be shown up by the little people!

Hang on Snoopy, Snoopy hang on!

They out did them all, the Limbo pros!

Gone fishin' for the little ones too!

There certainly are a lot of young ones here this year!

We all had a good time and hope to see everyone plus some that couldn't make it this year at the next family reunion.

Trip to Tennessee

HAPPY 4th OF JULY,
2009
We went to Angie and Ben's for the 4th weekend and got to visit for a few days. We had a great time. Thanks for putting up with us! It was fun to do things with the kids too. The big ones and the little ones!
Brenden was having fun with the sparklers, Riley, not so much, she didn't like those things at all!
Even a little spark from one of them didn't stop him!

No, he had not been drinking yet! He was just enjoying the sparklers too!

Brenden, cleaning out the flower bed with his "rake."

Riley helping Brenden in the flower bed.

Riley posing with the lamp so we could send the picture to Aunt Doe.

We went putt-puttin one day while we were there. Brenden was very upset when his ball disappeared on the 18th hole!

The guys trying to figure out the green, since I had number "5" hole in one, I put them to shame!!! I did beat them, I was excited! Sorry guys!

Miss Liberty, Angie showing the outfit from Riley!

Riley preparing for our tea party, we had play-doh tea pots, cups, saucers, and of course cookies to go along with the tea. It was fun playing with her and all the play-doh!

Riley and her rose, she was so proud of, she won it at one of the carnival games, basketball, I believe.

Driving in their own pink cadilac at the carnival!

Their favorite ride I think, the good ole fashioned Carousel! They had to ride on this one several times.

At their house, they have the best tree for sitting in! Brenden loves this.

Riley likes to be in the tree too, but she wanted Dad to get that bug out of here!
